British Food & Farming Fortnight 25/7 - 12/8

This year British Food & Farming Fortnight runs concurrently with the 2012 Olympic Games

 We at the Country market are putting out the bunting again this Friday for the start of the Games and again the following week and we will actively be promoting British Food at its best, courtesy of our producers.

Please pay us a visit and see what exciting items we have on offer.

Father's Day

Don't forget it is Father's Day this coming Sunday 17th June, so please order any items you require by Tuesday evening 17.00hrs,; see details below.

Olimpick Games & Jubilee Weekend

 In Jacobean dress commenerating the 400 Anniversary of the Cotswold Olimpick Games and with our market venue decked out for the start of the Jubilee weekend.

We had many delighful comments concerning both our dress and decorations.

The local Mayor came in to put the seal of approval to the event.

We had some 400 year old receipes, with such items as Whigs biscuits; Banbury cakes & Heties. The Jubilee pie went down a storm.

THEMED MARKET EVENT

 The Robert Dovers Cotswold Olimpick Games will soon be upon us and to start off the weekend of Friday the 1st June we will be holding a "Themed" Market in the Lower Town Hall between 09.00 - 11.30.

Everyone is welcome and we have all our usual treats, plus a few Specials to mark the occasion.

Not long until Easter!

This year as usual, we will not be opening on Good Friday, but on Maundy Thursday, 5th April.
Our opening time will be from 2.00pm - 4.00pm. Do hope you can join us.

Mothering Sunday

Don't forget that Mothering Sunday this year is the 18th March and you will find an excellent selection of cards and gifts from our craft section.

If you are celebrating at home, then do have a look at our home cooked produce where you can make up a delicious meal fit for a Queen!

We're back!

After a break of a few weeks we have now returned to our usual Friday morning slot in the Town Hall and lok forward to seeing all our regular faces, together with many new ones.
