Many thanks

We are pleased to say that our Christmas Taster Day was well supported, with many locals and visitors popping in and sampling some of our delicious food. One Lady from Wales said “I really wish that our town had a Country Market, if it was as good as this one, I would be a regular”.

Many people commented on the range of items, which also included craft and cards, as well as food. We will continue to do “Mini Taster” sessions every Friday on the run up to Christmas, so if you missed our main one, don’t worry. Look forward to seeing you Fridays, 09.00 – 11.00 in the Lower Town Hall.

Holiday Time

Holiday time is always a funny time at the Market - lots of locals are away on holiday, but conversely we have many vistors either staying in Campden or just passing through.

This year we have sent posters out to all the local self catering businesses and asked them to put our poster in their accommodation folder. This together with our slightly longer opening hours, (until 11.30) hopefully will help make a difference.

We have quite a few foreign visitors, some who just pop their heads round the doors, others that come in and chat as they really like the idea of purchasing home grown and home made goods to take back to their own countries.

Enjoy the rest of the summer!
